FareShare in Brisbane uses rescued and donated food to cook free, nutritious meals for those most in need.

Warehouse volunteers play an important role in the operations at FareShare. They are responsible for taking delivery of incoming stock, including weighing and recording food and determining where to store and direct stock. After this food is cooked into meals by our kitchen volunteers, our warehouse volunteers weigh and record the outgoing product. Other tasks such as stock rotation and general cleaning are important to keep the warehouse running efficiently. We have a preference for warehouse volunteers with a forklift license, as we use forklifts to transport our stock.
