Do you enjoy helping others in a warm and fun environment? Encounter Centre works with the community to provide interesting and informative programs along with the opportunity to learn new skills in a supportive manner. Sewing group volunteers are required to assist people living with a disability and guide them as they complete basic sewing activities. Volunteers are required with sewing machine experience as well as basic hand sewing skills. The intent of the group is to enhance the participant's life skills.
