Volunteer Tenant Liaison Officer and interpreter
Uniting WAThe Volunteer Tenant Liaison Officer will help provide reassuring social support either over the phone, face to face or through e contact to UnitingCare West tenants who may be isolated. The Volunteer Tenant Liaison Officer will also liaise with tenants and UnitingCare West staff to build strong relationships in the community and to assist tenants to connect to appropriate services Ideally, the applicant will have: • Experience and/or interest in supporting vulnerable people • Excellent communication skills – be an active listener and be able to empathise with tenants • Have a mature outlook and be able to work independently • 2/3 hours to offer on a fortnightly basis and be able to commit for a 3 – 6 month period
