The Participation and Engagement Committee members will add their voices to the ongoing development and evaluation of the organisation. Committee members will have opportunities to participate in working groups, rapid improvement events, focus groups, reporting, training, surveys and development of services. A commitment to a meeting of 2 hours monthly is the minimum requirement, while the committee itself will establish additional activities Members of the committee will be committed to: Share information that supports the creation of consumer and carer friendly services Improve communication between all stakeholders Build the capacity of all current and future stakeholders to participate Integrate participation into the organisation Review and monitor the systems of participation for effectiveness Learn from experience and the evidence of participation.
