Gallery Assistants are a part of an exciting creative environment and work work amongst a team of engaging, committed and creative individuals. Gallery Assistants play a key role in the day to day running of our Galleries to ensure the Galleries are welcoming and friendly environments. Tasks include patrolling the galleries to ensure visitors abide by gallery regulations and assist with clearing visitors from the premises at closing time and promote/apply policies on health and safety, security, child protection, equality and diversity etc. Volunteers will need to have good people skills, a good eye for detail and ability to respond to general enquiries. An interest in in contemporary art and culture is essential.
