Case Manager Coordinator - Safe Pets Safe Families

Safe Pets Safe Families is looking for a Case Manager Coordinator. This is a volunteer role. You will be required to oversee the case management of the organisation and also liaise with the Board, CEO and Case Managers. This role requires you to be the first port of call for all Case Managers working with the organisation.

The Case Manager Coordinator is responsible for:

Assigning individual cases to Case Managers
Supervising Case Managers
Offering appropriate training, guidance and support to Case managers
Resolving any conflicts / complaints about case management
In consultation with the CEO, selecting appropriate applicants for case managers
Monitoring emails, telephone calls, Facebook messages etc regarding incoming cases and action as appropriate
Ensuring appropriate documentation is completed for each case. *Maintaining records relating to current cases and report to the CEO (weekly) and Board (monthly) regarding cases.

Requirements

National Police Certificate

* Must have good communication skills including verbal and written * Ability to act calmly in crisis situations * Must be a problem solver and be able to think outside the box * An understanding of domestic violence, mental health issues and homelessness is preferred * Good time management skills and an ability to meet a deadline are essential * Previous case management experience preferred but training will be offered * Conflict resolution experience preferred however training and support will be available * Ability to lead and manage a team * Good record keeping skills are important. .
