Lilydale Assist are seeking volunteers in the following roles for their Committee of Management:
Office Bearer - President The President’s role is to work in partnership with the board to ensure that that the organisation’s objectives, goals and mission are being followed and that the the organisation develops in the appropriate direction. The President initiates regular review and development of the Strategic Plan and the assessment, review and renewal of the Board Chair the Executive. In addition, they chair Board meetings and assign (in partnership with the Board) administrative duties to Board members and volunteers.

Office Bearer - Secretary The Secretary is primarily responsible for the documentation and communication of all Lilydale Assist activities. The role includes the preparation of detailed agendas, recording minutes, circulating accurate minutes, receiving and disseminating correspondence, compiling the annual report, and completing legislative reporting requirements. The ideal candidate will have strong administrative and communication skills.

Ordinary members Lilydale Assist is seeking ordinary committee members with particular skill-sets and experience in the following areas:

Fundraising – working with local clubs, businesses, philanthropy and all levels of government to increase the funding for the organisation to deliver enhanced, holistic services for the community. Experience in grant writing is required.

Marketing – developing a marketing plan to raise the profile of the organisation and its work in the community using a variety of tools.

Legal – to assist the committee and organisation understands and adheres to all legal responsibilities relating to an incorporated association.
