Bushcare is about encouraging natural regeneration by removing isolated weeds that compete with our native plants for space, food & water. Immerse yourself in some serene bushland settings, and know that you are creating healthy habitats for wildlife and natural places we can all enjoy for the future.

There are 1-2 Bushcare Days a week. Days run from 9am – 3.30pm. Catch our bus from our Brooklyn Park Office or from designated pick up points en route, or meet us on site. Sometimes there are pick up points along the way. You are welcome to come for half a day if you wish, but you will need to organise your own transport.

The activity would be suitable for anybody who is in general good health, there is no heavy work, but there is bending and squatting involved as well as walking a short distance to the site over uneven ground.
