The Boroondara Volunteer Resource Centre is advertising this role on behalf of Kew Neighbourhood Learning Centre.

We are looking for a support person for our Inclusive Communities Program. You will be assisting tutors and participants within our wide range of activities. This may include providing positive support and guidance to clients enrolled in our programs. This is a great opportunity to work within a positive and dynamic team.

Tasks and Responsibilities:

• Assisting tutors and participants within our wide range of Inclusive programs
• Activities may include providing positive support and guidance to clients enrolled in our: computers, art, swimming, gardening, men's shed, craft, band, music and dance groups
• Our clients are fairly independent and require little to no physical support
• Opportunities to provide further support on a 1:1 basis to clients who are looking to develop additional skills within an office and community environment
• Assistance with organizing morning teas

Skills and Experience:

• Experience working with people with disabilities
• Knowledge and interest in community based practices
• Administration experience
