Multiple Sclerosis is funded to provide a volunteer visiting program – the Community Visitors Scheme (CVS). Volunteer visitors share stories, go for a stroll or have a cuppa, listen to music or play a game. Our volunteers play a vital role in the life of a person living in an aged care home or their own home through ongoing friendship.

We have a small group of 3 engaging ITALIAN residents in an Aged Care Facility in FOOTSCRAY Victoria who would benefit from the friendship for an ITAILAN SPEAKING VISITOR for reminiscing and group conversation.

You need to be warm, caring, reliable and be willing to commit to at least fortnightly visits for a minimum of 12 months.

Good Italian communication skills required for these recipients, however volunteers with other languages willing to be matched to same language recipients are very welcome to also apply.
