The Boroondara Volunteer Resource Centre is advertising this role on behalf of Balwyn Evergreen Centre.

Are you able to help an aged/disabled person care for their pet? This position involves interacting with your client, where you may enjoy a cuppa and a chat, whilst regularly helping them walk their pets and provide assistance with the every day management of their pets.

Tasks and Responsibilities:

• Ability to interact and effectively communicate with your client
• Help the client walk their pet
• Animal grooming
• Assistance with animal's medication where necessary
• Ability to commit for a minimum of 3 months

Skills and Experience:

• Friendly and reliable
• Confident and comfortable around animals
• Must be aged 18+ to participate in this program
