Help support breastfeeding mothers, promote breastfeeding and educate our community by undertaking one of the tasks or roles within the Association. Whatever your capacity, there is sure to be a role for you. Volunteering with ABA can fit in with life’s many commitments. There is a variety of positions available.

Locally, across the branch (WA) there are opportunities in the following areas: • There are working groups such as National Fundraising Group, National Membership Group, Booklets Working Group, Breast Pump Hire Working Group, Branch Social Media Groups, Branch Planning Groups, Breastfeeding Information, Visual Images Working Group, Research and Professional Education Working Group. Volunteers can join these to share your ideas and take on tasks. They are not expected to be an expert in any area. • Volunteers can take the minutes at a Branch or Regional Meeting (training member) • Grant applications and Submissions – Often done with a small group of volunteers, help is required drafting application or gathering information. Covid-19 specific grants which ABA could apply for starting to come through. Great learning opportunity if you've never completed art grant application • Take attendance at Zoom meetings via private chat • Technical support for Zoom meetings. • Contribute any Photographs/short Video which could be used in ABA publications/resources • Create Breastfeeding Memes with ABA’s Meme Team (training members) Volunteers must live in the South West of WA.
