The Laurel Palliative Care Foundation (LPCF) exists to provide funds to support patients with a life limiting illness, and their families and carers. LPCF shares in the southern Adelaide Palliative Services (SAPS) vision to provide committed responsive regional palliative care services to the population of the Southern Region of Adelaide. As well as fundraising, the Foundation works to increase public awareness of palliative care and of the services provided by SAPS. The money raised allows the provision of services that would not otherwise be possible.

LPCF financial support includes; funding the purchase of equipment for patients in the community and in Laurel Hospice; funding Delta Therapy Dogs, funding for evidence based research; funding for bereavement and memorial services, and so much more.

Requirements: Should be fun loving person with experience in fundraising and events management. Effective communicator and well organised. Experience working in a Not-for-Profit agency and having established networks in the SA business world is advantageous, but not essential.

Volunteers are required to support the work of the foundation in fundraising and events management. For example, The Royal Adelaide Show each year.
