Northern Rivers Wildlife Carers Inc. is a not-for-profit network of trained volunteers that is licensed to rescue and rehabilitate sick, injured or orphaned wildlife for release back into the wild.

Volunteer work may involve:

• Rescues
• Transportation to vet
• Short-term holding of an animal
• Caring for orphaned or injured wildlife
• Administrative and fundraising tasks

Areas covered include Ocean Shores in the north, New Italy in the south, from Byron Bay in the east and Tabulam in the west.
