A Volunteer is needed to facilitate an English Conversation Class in the Miller area. The aim of this fun and informal class is to help adults improve their level of English conversation in a friendly, non-threatening environment and to build their confidence in speaking and understanding English.

Previous experience in ESL teaching would be a great advantage, however a strong interest in teaching and working with migrants would be looked upon favourably. You must have a strong command of the English language as well as a caring and patient nature.

Classes are held weekly on a Monday between 10am and 12 noon, during school terms.

These classes are in great demand and are a valuable source of learning and education for our migrant community. This is a rewarding volunteer role that will really make a difference to the lives of others.
