Running not your thing, but you still want to be part of the action and have some fun? CapRescue would like to invite you to join our Volunteer team for our upcoming event, Colour Me Capricorn. Volunteering is a great way to give back to the community, meet people with similar interests and of course to have fun!

This involves setting up the water stations on the course, handing out water to participants and cleaning up/packing down the drink station area after the event. You will be provided with latex gloves on the day but it is also important to have clean hands. For environmental reasons it is important to make sure the surrounding area is cleaned up after the event with all empty cups placed in the bin.

Participants will run, walk, dance or stroll their way along the garden path, covering the Rockhampton Kershaw Gardens in a cloud of colour on Sunday 19th March starting from 6:30am. There will be an active warm-up and 5km of colourful fun! We will have two distance options to cater for all ages and abilities – 2.5km and 5km.
