Are you a highly organised, proactive, and confident person who is willing to roll up their sleeves, available and enthusiastic to work in a small team to organise a successful fundraising event to support our not-for-profit?

Mood Active is a not-for-profit association based in the Central and Eastern Suburbs of Sydney.

We provide low-cost group exercise programs for those aged 18-65 that are wanting to improve their mental health, and our vision is to see more Australians using exercise to improve their mental health.

Key Responsibilities

  • Work with the Events Manager and other members of the Events Committee to assist with planning, preparation and event-day activities
  • Assist with securing event sponsorship including in-kind donations
  • Assist with event marketing, promotion and ticket sales

Requirements

  • Experience organising fundraising events
  • Ability to generate sponsorship
  • Experiential/Direct Marketing experience
  • Own computer, phone and internet
  • Proactive to tasks
  • Able to self-manage and work autonomously
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • A desire to help people to improve their mental health
