Volunteers are required to pay a one-off registration fee of $40. This fee will cover insurance, a name badge, a lovely branded polo shirt, plus an ongoing complimentary annual membership to the National Trust. The annual membership will remain free for all the years you remain an active volunteer. This annual membership provides unlimited free entry to all National Trust properties nationwide, which includes free entry to Currumbin Wildlife Sanctuary!
The Visitor Services and Education Support team are responsible for enhancing and assisting the guest experience at Wolston House.
Volunteers play a vital role in welcoming and informing visitors about the history of the property and to bring alive the lifestyles of earlier times. Volunteers will be paramount in inspiring visitors of all ages to respect and appreciate the value and interest of our colonial past.
The Visitor Services and Education Support volunteer will also be responsible for; -welcome guests -conduct house tours -assist school groups -general administration support -interacting and conversing with people of all ages (including children), and all nationalities -working outdoors (rain or sunshine)
