Reception & Administration Support

    The successful applicant will ;
    - have either experience or aptitude for administration work.
    - have good people skills
    - ability to work independently
    - be able to commit long term to the position and at least one day per week.

    Please Note: As each organisation provides different levels/types of insurance, volunteers are reminded to check with the organisation as to the type of insurance provided for volunteers (e.g. Volunteer Personal Accident Insurance)

The successful applicant will be able to work independently.

Duties include telephone answering and following up, responding to walk in enquiries, data entry, correspondence, some handling of finance may be required. Since there are no paid staff at ThreeD, volunteers will take on responsibility for some aspect of running the station. This will vary according to skills.

While we offer induction and initial support, the person will need to be able to work without ongoing on site support, as there is no 'supervisor' on site. This allows for great freedom to develop the job around your skills and talents, but it does mean that you will need to feel comfortable working on your own.

While someone is always available on the phone to answer questions, there may be nobody at the actual station to provide practical help.
