Volunteers are required to provide a at least 2 hours per fortnight of home visiting service to frail aged lonely and isolated members living in the local community of Canterbury and surrounds.

Volunteers should have a patient, friendly and caring nature . Visits will be spent doing something you both enjoy doing, you might want to read, listen to music, chat and reminisce, take a walk, have a coffee or watch a favourite TV program together.

Volunteers will be required to undergo a National Criminal History Record check (at the expense of the Organisation)

Volunteers from all cultural backgrounds are welcome, particularly those who speak other community languages.
