Our participants are adults with disabilities and they also have many ABILITIES, goals and motivation. As a coaching assistant you will help the staff trainer's students to complete their classroom exercises and get the maximum out of their training sessions. The sessions are led by an employment coach and you will be the assistant. Help with note-taking, written work, research, powerpoint presentations, interview and resume skills, verbal communication, workplace social skills,  motivation, sharing experiences, job-seeking etc as part of their class activities. Encourage, motivate, share and be part of a committed team. Full staff training and supervision are provided.This is a very rewarding and productive role as you encourage confidence and independence in our fantastic young adult jobseekers . No teaching qualification is required. Staff will guide you and students will appreciate you. How good would it be to help someone work towards getting a job?!
