What activities are on offer for the day?

• Delivering outstanding customer service • Categorising and pricing an array of donated items • Assisting in designing and creating eye-catching ways to present saleable items to the public • Adding your own pizzazz, style and flair to the Vinnies shop displays

How do I get started? Simply visit the shop during opening hours and complete a 1 page registration form. You are now ready to volunteer for the day!

We offer an opportunity to: • Get a bite-sized taste of volunteering in a national not-for-profit organization • Support those in need within your local area • Have a fun day out with friends and feel good about it!

A bit about Vinnies... The St Vincent de Paul Society is one of the most recognised charitable organisations that offers ‘a hand up’ to people in need. We do this by respecting their dignity, sharing our hope and encouraging them to take control of their destiny by providing practical support, advocacy and friendship. We operate over 100 retail shops throughout Victoria, commonly called 'Vinnies' that raise much needed funds to support those who are vulnerable in the community.
