Human Resource Manager-Redbank Plains

    Minimum 8-10 hours per week required.This may increase during peak times. The successful volunteer will be required to volunteer at Bellbird Park (Ipswich). However, some duties may be offered as virtual (volunteer from home) based at volunteer's own expense. Days and times can be negotiated with successful candidate.

    The successful candidate will ideally have experience in Human Resources will be prepared to volunteer long term and will be approachable, demonstrate excellent written and verbal communication skills, lead by example and be pro-active, positive and patient, as well as-
    -Tertiary education in Business/Human Resources or equal experience
    -Intermediate computer skills in Microsoft Office Suite
    -Previous experience in recruiting, writing policies, developing induction programs preferred but not essential.
    -Drivers licence and own transportation preferred but not essential
    -Must have the right to work/volunteer in Australia ( Visa)

This is a unique opportunity to use your past experience to build upon current human resource practices as well as recommend and implement new frameworks to support the recruitment, management and training of new and existing volunteers.

This is your chance to put your stamp on the role and truly be a change maker becoming a team member, only those who are able to commit to long term volunteering are asked to express interest. This in-depth role has duties which include but are not limited to- -Recruit and induct volunteers -Develop policies and procedures -Train and support volunteers -Develop processes in line with the National Standards -Conduct reference checks -Attend training and workshops (mostly Ipswich based) -General admin -Develop/maintain volunteer database -Update/review volunteer application form and other on-boarding documents.

The role is based at Bellbird Park (Ipswich City Council region). However, some aspects of the role can be offered as a virtual (volunteer from home) position at the volunteer's own expense and as mutually agreed.
