The Community Visitor Scheme involves visiting a designated resident on a regular basis, at least once a fortnight, for the purpose of friendship and companionship. The nursing homes are located in Lane Cove and the Hunters Hill areas.

The volunteer must be able to speak a conversational level of English. A commitment of six months is sought. The minimum age is 18 years.
