Duties include:

• Must be able to maintain privacy and confidentiality
• Assist residents with reading, writing, conversation and other activities of interest on a 1:1 basis
• When required, collect residents to attend functions
• Provide social and emotional support to nominated residents
• Assist residents to participate and attend group and/ or individual sessions
• Check equipment, supply needs and ensure materials are ready for the activities
• Carry out duties as required and be able to work alongside others
• Be comfortable interacting with residents - with great listening and conversation skills, be able to make people feel good about themselves and put a smile on their faces
