Activity Assistants provide support to residential clients by helping them to participate in and enjoy activities enhancing their quality of life.

Responsibilities, Duties & Personal Attributes:

Must be able maintain privacy and confidentiality
Take drink orders
Make coffees
Light cleaning duties

Requirements

National Police Certificate

- Be prepared to to attend any mandatory training sessions as required - Must have or willing to apply for a National Police Check (at no cost) - Abide by all policies and procedures and OH&S protocol - Activity Assistants must be punctual and reliable, have a friendly and positive attitude towards other team members and enjoy working with the elderly, frail and cognitive impaired. Please Note: As each organisation provides different levels/types of insurance, volunteers are reminded to check with the organisation as to the type of insurance provided for volunteers (e.g. Volunteer Personal Accident Insurance)
