The Bridge works with participants who have different degrees of physical or intellectual disability. Our staff provide training and seek work experience opportunities with our participants. We need volunteers who can support a participant in a workplace, short-term, enriching their work experience. The roles and times will be varied. The work helps develop confidence, independence and skills in the participant. It is a combination of mentoring, observing, listening, encouraging, liaising, advocating and coaching. This is a terrific chance to give back, and with great variety. You can share what you have learned about work with someone else who can learn and benefit too.
