Established in 2013, Mood Active is a small, not for profit association based in the Eastern Suburbs of Sydney. We provide an evidence based, low cost group exercise program for people diagnosed with depression and anxiety to help them get back on their feet and also manage their mood longer term. Participants are typically referred to us by GPs, psychologists and community organisations and to date, feedback has been very positive.  As part of this expansion strategy, we are looking for a Sponsorship Consultant to help fund our mission.

This role would require approx 2 hours a week on average of your time, worked flexibly.

Key responsibilities would include:

  • Working alongside our Fundraising Manager to support our sponsorship strategy
  • Researching sponsorship opportunities for our operations and events
  • Assisting with contacting and developing opportunities i.e. lead generation, calling and meeting potential partners
  • Produce appropriate marketing material for sponsorship opportunities (with support from Marketing Manager)

About you:

  • Successful track record in a sales, sponsorship, business development or fundraising environment
  • Proactive and willing to make new connections
  • A desire to help people in the field of mental health
  • Ability to work autonomously
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Competent using MS Word, google drive, email & internet search skills
  • This is a working from home position so own computer, phone and internet is required

Preferred:

  • Experience in health or fitness industry, mental health, disabilities, not for profits etc
  • Salesforce experience
