An understanding/awareness of the culture and values of Good shepherd. Interest in the history of the Sisters and ability to discuss their story and mission in an engaging way. Good interpersonal/communication skills. Sensitivity to others. Maturity, discretion, compassion and empathy in a manner respectful of the Good Shepherd Chapel as a sacred space. Ability to work collaboratively with others and to foster a warm and welcoming space.

Volunteers will provide friendly and informative service to all visitors who come to the chapel. They will be predominantly based in the Interpretive Centre and will help to promote and support the vision and mission of Good Shepherd to ensure the Chapel is an enduring testament to the life, faith and work of the Good Shepherd Sisters. Achieved by communicating the life stories of the Sisters and connecting people to Good Shepherd's mission.
