Volunteer Office Manager
Glass House Mountains Neighbourhood CentreOffice Manager Role Description Tasks Manage the Neighbourhood Centre’s office systems Review and improve Centre office procedures (Eg. computer and hard copy filing systems, completion of office procedures handbook, processes for hall hire and emergency relief, office stationary and folder storage, set-up online calendar) To encourage other volunteers to participate and lead various aspects of Centre operations Conduct volunteer training on new and revised office procedures Work toward a discussion and consensus model of decision making where ever possible Attend most monthly or bi-monthly Management Committee meetings (held weekdays)
Skills Required: High level of skills in working with office procedures Well-developed verbal and written communication skills Good computer skills Basic facilitation skills Ability to lead and collaborate in a team environment Knowledge and understanding of meeting processes Basic conflict management skills

Times Required: Flexible (minimum 5 hours, maximum 20 hours per week) Ideally two mornings per week (9am – 12pm) for at least 6 months Some hours can be done from home
