On our programs you will be what is known as a Leader. This position operates directly with Participants to make sure they're fully engaged and thus you will need a good level of English. Leaders must be aged between 16 and 26 years old. Most of our Leaders are recruited from secondary schools and universities in South Australia. Each of our camps are staffed almost entirely by our trained Leaders. We invite, prepare and challenge young people to act as positive role models to our participants, as well as each other.

A 1:1 ratio of Leaders to Participants occurs on each program to ensure an opportunity is created for great relationships to be built. The role of a Leader on our programs is more than purely recreational. It is about having fun whilst serving as mentors for all Participants.

Camps are residential which means that everyone stays overnight. As a Leader, you will generally arrive on the afternoon before a camp starts to meet the other leaders and prepare for camp. Activity Days are non-residential and are simply one day of full on fun and activities!

As you become a more experienced Leader, you can apply for Positions of Responsibility (POR) as they require a knowledge and responsibility beyond the Leader position.

You can not apply for this role as it is no longer available.
