When a child has a life-threatening condition, it impacts on the whole family. Care for these children can be physically and emotionally exhausting. Very Special Kids helps to improve the quality of life for these families.

Very Special Kids currently supports over 900 families across Victoria and we need your help as our service is growing. As a Volunteer, you can help to ease the load for these families by spending time with a sick child, sibling or parent in the family home, hospital or at Very Special Kids House in Malvern.

We are looking for mature, responsible volunteers who are sensitive, positive and can empathise with our families. Volunteers will need to commit to regular volunteering for at least 12 months.

Volunteers will partake in a comprehensive 27 hour training program to provide the skills and confidence to support our families.
