What the role involves: -Demonstrating and teaching first aid skills at public places and events -Encourage the public to complete accredited first aid training -Represent St John Ambulance in a positive light to the public -Set up and take down the training space, before and after training sessions -Support the sub centres within in the region to promote first aid training and kit sales -Deliver First Aid Focus to schools and community groups -Deliver first aid awareness information sessions to clients as required

Being a First Aid Awareness Officer will develop your communication skills and build confidence by allowing you to engage with a wide variety to people. Being part of a large volunteer team will help you connect with other like minded volunteers in the Wheatbelt area.

You will also form part of the St John WA's Event Health Services team who attend thousands of publicevents annually, and you will belong to a team that really makes a difference in people’s lives.
