This organization requires a reliable volunteer with a current Drivers Licence to work with another volunteer to drive a hospital station wagon to pick up and deliver small items of equipment such as walking frames and wheelchairs and deliver them to palliative care patients at home in the St George and Sutherland Shire area.
It is necessary for volunteers to be sensitive as they will be visiting patients.
Benefits: People who volunteer with this organisation are always saying that they receive more than they give. Volunteers work as part of the team. The organisation values the contribution made by volunteers and provides opportunities for ongoing support, education and personal development. Own transport not required.
