Present a friendly and warm welcome to all families and direct them to an available table. Advise them to order at counter and take orders at the till as needed (training provided). Ensure tables are cleared discreetly after the customers have finished eating and drinking (not during). Clear dishes to the kitchen, empty food waste and place to the right of the dishwasher. Sweep floors, clean chairs, straighten and clean tables etc as needed to ensure café always looks clean and inviting. Watch servery kitchen for food to be run and coffees to be delivered to customers. Priorities coffee above food and ensure all items of food or drinks are crossed off docket (so the Foodie on duty knows you are taking the food or drinks to the customer) Review list of tasks to do and completed during service e.g. check toilets, empty bins, stock up paper towels, serviettes, knives and forks etc.
