This particular individual is in need of social support several times per week 30-60 minutes. The aim is to occupy the resident through conversation as he does tend to become emotionally upset , but we are not too sure why. We are hoping to have a regular visitor that can give some support ,with the goal to introducing some recreational activities We strongly believe that the role of the volunteer will make a difference and increase this individuals quality of life. It will require someone who has a non-judgemental approach, can show empathy, have great enthusiasm and patience, Prefers to have a female volunteer.
