Our Mentors are linked with Learners to provide the Learner with the training they need in order to use their PC, tablet or smartphone. The training is usually provided in the Learner's home or occasionally in a nearby library or in our training room at Woolloongabba. Time and place is negotiated between the Mentor and Learner to suit both.
Mentors are not required to give support beyond their level of confidence. There is no curriculum, no exams and no study required.
We definitely prefer our Mentors to be in a similar age bracket to our Learners, so that they can relate to the challenges of being a Senior trying to understand new technology.
