We are seeking a walking companion or companions to accompany and help motivate a gentleman recently advised by his GP that he needed to exercise regularly for health reasons. The plan initially would be to meet the gentleman who lives in the retirement village at the Gwelup Lake and accompany him for about 15 minute - 30 minutes.

Geraldton PCYC is seeking enthusiastic dedicated volunteers to join their Youth Support team and volunteer with the busy Thursday night "Drop In" program. Volunteers are needed in the kitchen preparing fruit and an evening meal for all. Youth Supervisors are also needed to be on the floor engaging with the youth in games such as Basketball and Ping Pong. Esperance Care Services recycles furniture by selling donated items at their shop, a service which provides low cost options for local families. As a Furniture Removal Assistant you would help them to pick up donated items so that they can be displayed in their shop, and then help to deliver them once purchased. This would be an excellent voluntary role for anyone who is keen to maintain their fitness or a fit person looking to also exercise their heart muscle :)
