Volunteers are also required for homework clubs and school-holiday programs as well as English language tutoring for refugee parents.

Mentoring takes place on a 1:1 basis for a minimum of one term (10 weeks, one hour per week).

Geraldton PCYC is seeking enthusiastic dedicated volunteers to join their Youth Support team and volunteer with the busy Thursday night "Drop In" program.
Volunteers are needed in the kitchen preparing fruit and an evening meal for all. Youth Supervisors are also needed to be on the floor engaging with the youth in games such as Basketball and Ping Pong.
You will need to be able to confidently engage with young people from the ages of 6-17 years and exert a positive influence on them.

Names are taken of those Tutor Volunteers wanting to be involved in this program and once there are enough people interested a workshop is run. Usually every 3 months.
