The role of the volunteer coordinator is to recruit and manage volunteers for ConnectGroups’ Hand to Heart Project. In this role you will be responsible for allocating duties and tasks to volunteers, organising induction and training for new volunteers, ensuring that there are sufficient numbers of fully trained and reliable volunteers, scheduling and monitoring home visits, and collating data and feedback.

We are seeking a walking companion or companions to accompany and help motivate a gentleman recently advised by his GP that he needed to exercise regularly for health reasons. The plan initially would be to meet the gentleman who lives in the retirement village at the Gwelup Lake and accompany him for about 15 minute - 30 minutes.
Our courtyard areas and entrance way need volunteers to spend a little time and bringing the brightness back. Your gardening endeavors will lift the spirits of our residents and staff alike as you make a difference with your skill and energy.
Just two hours a week will make such a difference to these small garden areas.
