The area provides habitat for over 74 species of land and water birds, including 14 significant bird species,

These numbers are large, much larger than we might imagine are needed for some our native wildlife to survive and thrive. Our Green Links projects address this need by extending, reconnecting and recreating large areas of bushland habitat for a range of animals – and for plants too, that need places for their seed to spread and establish.
