Ideally, positions are for 1 day a week for at least 6 months and are on a voluntary basis. As part of the Events Team you will work closely with the Event Manager to help organise and coordinate our two signature events, the AGM, State Conference and Awards Ceremony on November 23, 2019 and the Eco Fest on March 21, 2020.

This is a unique event, seeing our participants abseiling 220 metres from the top of Perth's tallest building, while raising vital funds. MSWA are seeking the help of able bodied volunteers to help assist on event day's in a variety of roles. You will be working with one other volunteer, receiving and sorting donations, pricing/displaying the merchandise and operating the cash register. With over 120km of road to cover, we require an army of marshals on event day to direct participants and spectators. Marshals are our eyes and ears on the ground and assist with directing riders along the course, as well as keeping the course clear of debris and other obstacles.

Warehouse wizards form part of the warehouse team organising donated goods to the Homeless Connect Perth event. Please note this is an ongoing pre-event role. We are seeking volunteers who can sort, fold and display clothing and goods to best advantage, work well with a small team and get the job done. A reasonable level of fitness is required for this role, as you will be moving and standing for the 5 hour shift.

The event is a project of the Rotary Club of Ascot (Inc.) with funds raised at the event going towards support for programs for young children and other Rotary community projects.

This Rummage Sale is on to help us raise urgently needed funds which will go directly to supporting children and their families. There are many exciting activities running throughout the day, however the main attraction is the Float Parade that closes off the foreshore for all to enjoy! Our committee is looking for an enthusiastic person to co-ordinate this.
