The Volunteers Hub at Diamond Valley Community Support are advertising this position on behalf of the Lower Plenty Dance Group Inc. Volunteers help set up the venue, greet dancers, manage the reception desk, engage and supervise. The dance group is a not for profit volunteer organization running live and online weekly dance for people with intellectual disabilities.
Background Diamond Valley Community Support began as a local Community Service provider in 1972. The Opportunity Shop in Macleod was established in 2012 and the second op shop in Diamond Creek was established in 2016. Both shops operate for the following purposes – • To raise funds to operate other community services • To promote Volunteering in the local community • To actively encourage product recycling • To assist people in need
