It’s back… The IGA Purple Bra Day Street Appeal - Wednesday 20 September 2023! Breast Cancer Care WA will be painting the city of Perth purple, collecting donations to allow us to continue the vital work that we do providing support to West Australians affected by breast cancer. We are asking volunteers to support us by wearing a purple bra (over your clothes) and shaking a tin in the Perth CBD.
Put your flare for fashion and desire to give back into good use and help to transform the lives of those in need. Through the sale of clothing, accessories, bric-a-brac, and other assorted items in these stores, Vinnies is able to cloth, feed, shelter and support those in need. Your volunteering experience will be varied, with a range of different tasks regularly being carried out in store. Meet new people, develop new skills, build friendships and have fun as part of our volunteering family.

Are you a people person who loves to drive? If so, this is the role for you! Our Respite centre in Wembley is seeking a volunteer bus driver to accompany the Sawle Social Connections group on Monday's or Thursday's, every week, from 9:00am to 4:30pm. As a volunteer bus driver, you will be responsible for picking up a group of 5 or 6 gentleman or ladies, along with one of our support workers, and driving them to lunch or other places of interest.

MercyCare's Respite Centre, Davis House, located in Wembley, is seeking an Activities Assistant to support and inspire our current team of carers in creating engaging activities for elderly clients living with dementia. As an Activities Assistant, you can make a positive impact by visiting the centre once a week for a minimum of 2 hours.
