Great Western Tiers Visitor Centre
The Deloraine & Districts Folk Museum is co-located with the Great Western Tiers Visitor Centre at 98-100 Emu Bay Road, Deloraine. It focuses on the horse drawn era and our early pioneering history. The Family & Commercial Inn is set up as it may have looked in 1864 when it was the local ale house. The museum is housed in an award winning garden with a Pioneer Walk where you can view reproduction and reclaimed buildings showcasing the lives, tools and farming equipment of our early settlers.

Do you enjoy gardening and outdoor work? Pearns Steam World are located in the historic town of Westbury, just 25 minutes drive west of Launceston. The museum holds a collection of steam traction engines, tractors, stationary engines and agricultural memorabilia, including women in agriculture on display. We are looking for a volunteers to maintain and develop the gardens and grounds surrounding the museum. (C)
