DoggieRescue is looking for volunteers to join our team of 'Food and Play' volunteers on a regular day, either weekly, fortnightly or monthly. This role is based at the DoggieRescue shelter (Doggiewood) in Ingleside on the Northern Beaches. Volunteers would need to be over 18 years old.

The DoggieRescue Customer Service team is an invaluable part of life at the DoggieRescue shelter (Doggiewood). Our Customer Service team welcomes visitors to Doggiewood who may be interested in fostering or adopting a dog, or volunteering to walk or cuddle a dog. DoggieRescue is looking for Customer Service volunteers both at the weekend and during the week (excluding Mondays). Volunteers must be over 18 years old.

Visiting challenged adults and children in hospitals, nursing homes and other health care facilities to offer emotional, mental, physical and social stimulation, and a gentle cuddle with your own furry friend to lift their spirits. Volunteers require their own healthy, friendly, well mannered, confident pet that enjoys meeting strangers away from their home. Pets As Therapy visits are Monday - Friday between 10 am - 3.00 pm.
