For girls 5-17 years. We meet in the Old Show Hall, Main Rd Willunga on Thursdays during school terms from 5- 6.30pm. Bowls Australia are looking for competent Activations Assistants in a voluntary capacity to assist with bowls related displays at events across Adelaide. A typical display will include some promotional material as well as a small space for some introductory bowls activities that are set up as part of a family fun zone at a sporting event, such as a major tournament or schools PE day. Previous knowledge of bowls and experience working with children is advantageous, but by no means essential.
This project is located in Port Adelaide ( Lefevre Peninsula, Garden Island and Beaches) and has been made possible through the support of Flinders Ports.
The program will provide the opportunity for the community to become proactive in marine debris awareness, while monitoring and raising awareness about the issue at a focussed local level.The project will help to educate community that debris has a dramatic impact on the local marine environment.
