Join Speedo and Starlight on the last weekend of the Super Swim Challenge as super swimmers dive in and go the extra distance for sick kids. Challengers will be invited to join their community for a fundraising sausage sizzle, fun and games, and an opportunity to smash out some laps with each other and with Olympic swimming legends. Like an old fashioned swimming carnival, with an extra splash for sick kids!

Join CVA as we work with Greening Australia to water a planting of a threatened species of Casuarina that is being established at Coolum. The goal of this project is to provide follow up care to ensure that the planted saplings establish as mature plants. Volunteers will also be collecting soil moisture data and recording sapling survival rates and observations.
Landcare Conservation volunteers are required to work in the Nursery every Friday from 8am to 2pm to help maintain environment / tree planting and participate in special projects. You will need some level of physical fitness and an interest in the environment. Help with maintenance at Land Care sites around town - Bush Garden, Turtle Bridge, Lou Litster and Mundy Creek.
