The St John Volunteer Community Visitors (Nambour) set aside time at least once a fortnight to pay a friendly visit to a resident/s in an Australian Government subsidised aged care home, or a person in their own home who is receiving a Government funded Home Care Package. You would be required to visit the client once a fortnight (minimum 20 times per year). A First Aid Certificate ( we provide training) , Blue Card and Fit 2 Work Police Check (lodged by St John) are necessary requirements.

The Blue Care Centre in Coopers Plains needs Volunteers to support a range of services for people in our care who come to the Centre for activities designed to keep them active and connected in the community.
