Our Multilingual Volunteers provide support to clients to ensure that they are able to communicate effectively and access services. Multilingual Volunteers provide support over the phone or in person. We especially need volunteers who speak Arabic, Dari, Farsi, Hazaraghi, Burmese, Karen, Tigre (Tigrayit/Kasa) and Tigrinya but we welcome all applications.

Digital Community Visitors Service The DCVS is an easy way for you to benefit the community and improve people’s quality of life. The program is federally funded and works to connect socially isolated seniors with volunteers for regular social interaction. The DCVS aims to enrich the quality of life of residents of aged care homes, or their own home, who may be socially isolated or lonely, whether it be for social or cultural reasons or due to disability.
